About the Faux Finish Artist

With over 25 years of experience in fulfilling customer's faux finished dream projects, Alex Khatib has built a reputation as 'The Faux Finish Expert'. His expertise encompasses all aspects of faux finishes, surface preparations, texturing and custom painting.

ALEX KHATIB lives with his wife and son in Dallas, Texas. The holder of a BS degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami, he obtained extensive experience in historic home preservation during his academic program there as well receiving as two technical baccalaureates in Fine Art, with a concentration in Faux Finishing.

Alex has successfully faux finished hundreds in South Florida including Ft. Lauderdale's l'Hermitage, Boca West, Broken Sound, Bonaventure, Weston, Willliams Island, Points of Turnberry, Oceania, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and Coco Plum.
